Although my contribution appears first in this Newsletter it's always the last to be written. Why? I really enjoy reading the various articles, which prompt my comments. We have obviously been very active since the October Newsletter. Our Artists have been to London and our Geographers to the North Yorkshire Moors. A group of 6th form Literature students have had a splendid weekend in the Lake District. We have been to Birmingham twice; each time battling with that car park they call the M6. Mrs Hardaker and Mr Saimbhi have taken a small group to India for a memorable exchange visit. My highlight was in the rather less exotic location of Brighouse! Our remarkable Year 8 Soccer team, coached by Mr Goldthorp, had got to the West Yorkshire Cup Final. They lost 2-1 in the end but played superbly and were unlucky to lose. There is so much going on and so much more to come. Please take a minute or two to read the articles, written for the most part by the students themselves. I hope you have a good holiday and we look forward to a successful
New Year.
