ICT Refurbishment

The ICT department has undergone a massive refurbishment over the past two years.

At the beginning of the 2002 - 2003 academic year, the three main ICT rooms, 15, 16 and T6, all had their computers updated to Windows XP Pro, and are all now on RM's 'Community Connect 3', the 'new network'.

Recently, though, the computers along the centre aisles of the two ICT rooms 15 and 16 have been replaced by new RM all-in-one computers. These computers enable the rooms to be more 'interactive' for the teachers because of the greater open space. There have been improvements made in room 23, also, which now has been placed on the new network, and all the computers are on Windows XP.
