HISTORY AT PRIESTHORPE

History is a very important subject at any school, and especially at Priesthorpe. At Priesthorpe, History is highly regarded and has many facilities. The department uses many high level text books, from which the pupils produce a huge amount of quality work. There are three dedicated History rooms. Here, pupils are inspired by the displays and models that the other pupils have produced throughout the years. The staff are highly trained and are always there to help. There is a wide-ranging visits programme which pupils greatly enjoy, whether they are visiting Calverley Church or First World War battlefields.
